There is nothing worse than playing golf and having the feeling that you are not performing your swing as well as you could. As with any type of move during a sport there can be a whole host of reasons as to where you could be going wrong from your posture to how you hold the club.

Many people find that in order to have the very best swing that they can they need to look carefully at their golf swing motion as this can have a negative or positive effect on their game. As you would expect the motion of a golf swing is the way that you perform the swing when you are teeing off and hoping to drive the ball down the fairway.

Often the reason that the motion of your golf swing is letting you down is that you are trying to swing far too fast which results in a poor shot that will not get you the kind of results that you would have hoped for. If you want a way to correct this problem it is quite easy and straight forward to do. You simply have to go back to basics and slow your swing right down so you can identify where you are going wrong.

So instead of taking your swing at the usual pace slow it right down, go through the motion several times without hitting the ball and you will find that you are concentrating more on where the club is in relation to the ball. This helps you to focus and see if there is any part of your golf swing where you are losing focus and using force instead of the motion to compete the shot. Do this until you feel confident enough to take a shot remembering the motion you have corrected.
